As one of our resident Automation Test Engineers, you will work alongside an epic team and take the lead on planning and executing our testing across Contact’s digital products. You will be involved in a range of programmes which means you will have plenty of opportunities to flex your expertise. In particular:
- The creation of test scenarios/test cases based on requirements for test preparation
- Execute functional, smoke, regression, performance, load and exploratory testing in mobile and web-based applications
- Develop and debug automation test script using any programming language, but Python would be a huge advantage
What makes you stand out?

This means you are the type of person who thrives in states of change and feels comfortable in the grey space when it comes to dealing with ambiguity. There are a few things on your list of “stuff I am really good at” but the super star bullet points are likely to be:
- 2 years of experience in using Selenium, Postman, JMeter or similar tools
- 3+ years of experience in functional and non-functional testing and hands-on automation testing along with 1+ years of Mobile testing (both manual and automation) IOS and Android
- Someone who can write clean, concise, readable code that follows common design patterns and principles. You might also have some qualifications to back this up, like, ISEB or ISTQB.
