The Venue
Ebisu serves up contemporary Japanese fare in a gloriously moody space right on Auckland’s waterfront in an historic building in Auckland’s Britomart precinct. A mixture of booths and tables are perfect for big groups or intimate gatherings. The menu draws together classic Japanese and European techniques - a mix of new-style sushi and sashimi as well as traditional Japanese dishes enlivened with unexpected twists. The Opportunity
We are on the hunt for a part-time waiter to join our equally passionate team. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience in a comparable venue, love for people and hospitality, good knowledge of wine and food, ability to work nights and weekends, and the desire to be part of a team with the drive to help it succeed!
As a waiter, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional dining experiences to all of our guests
- Being an ambassador for your venue and for Savor
- Offering recommendations, taking food and beverage orders, and serving
- Working cohesively with both front of house and back of house and ensuring communication is open
- Upselling through the knowledge of our products, and creating an engaged and authentic rapport with guests.
