About the Role
Working in our Horticultural team you will take a leadership role supporting our ground teams to maintain and manage a high level of presentation for our public spaces.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be first point of call for our field-based team for any of the day-to-day issues that might arise. You will be out and about, engaging with the teams throughout the day, dropping off equipment, undertaking site audits, assisting with training, providing an extra set of hands when required and keeping appropriate reporting and communications up to date to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. This is a hands-on role supporting the overall team but with a key focus on quality, auditing, training, and mentoring of the teams.
Ventia has strong systems, processes, and policies in place to guide you through your day. You will be supported directly by the operations team and other supervisors.
If you are self-motivated, well organised, enjoy physical work and being outdoors, enjoy sharing your knowledge and seeing a job well done, this could be the perfect role for you. Come and join our highly skilled and friendly team and see the difference you can make.
