Spray Technician Team Leader


About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a schedule of weed spraying to ensure that our major roads are kept tidy and well maintained. 

This role would suit someone with previous weed management experience, however full training can be provided. We can help you to achieve your Growsafe certificate. This role is ideal for someone who can self-manage, is reliable and takes pride in a job well done. 

 We will provide ongoing support while you develop your knowledge of herbicides and their application, the operation of spray equipment and experience in weed management. You will be fully supported with correct PPE and best practice training.

  
What you will be doing

•    Chemical spraying and application of herbicides.
•    Manual weed removal.
•    Operating spray equipment and machinery
•    Supporting general garden maintenance.
•    Various methodologies such as mechanical, manual, and hot water to manage weeds.
•    Pest plant control


About You

•    A Full New Zealand driver’s license - Manual
•    Are committed to delivering consistently high-quality workmanship.
•    Physically fit and committed to getting the job done.
•    Are conscientious toward keeping everyone updated.
•    Reliable and always on time for work.
•    Flexibility to work additional hours to complete scheduled work.
