Project Manager - Roading

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Contract Manager, this role will be looking after Maintenance Projects associated with the Hauraki Roading Maintenance Contract.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the maintenance teams to ensure all business unit obligations are met in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

This role requires a proactive management style towards resources to maximize the financial returns and effectively manage communications and reports to maintain the relationships with clients.

ABOUT YOU

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in project management, successfully working with a diverse range of stakeholders and clients to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proven ability to interpret, evaluate, and analyze roading plans, diagrams, and sketches.
  • Solid experience managing roading maintenance contracts and handling various aspects of cyclic road corridor maintenance.
  • Familiarity with and adherence to delivery maintenance contracts through the RAMM contractor system.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience are preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel and Word.
  • Please note, to meet evolving business and client needs, additional duties may be required.
