We are seeking a motived person to join our team of skilled, talented and passionate horticulturalists, and landscapers. You will work with a Team Leader and assist with for maintaining and creating some of the most beautiful parks and greenspaces across Auckland.
About the Role
Working across areas of Auckland City the role is very diverse and will primarily be responding to a variety of requests with no two days the same. It may be streetscape hedge trimming one day, mulching the next.
If you enjoy physical work and enjoy getting your hands dirty this may be the role for you
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Maintain vegetation along footpaths, walkways and tracks
Maintaining small trees with pruning, staking
Assisting Gardening teams with Planting and Mulching
General clean-up of Garden and park areas including Removal of pest plants weeding, trimming and spraying weeds
Have a passion for working outdoors and love to see the fruits of your labour
Are committed to providing the absolute best quality workmanship for our customers
Have a class one driver’s license
Must be physically fit
Reliable and always on time for work
Comfortable working and support team members
We won’t budge on safety therefore we need someone who is health and safety conscious
Willing to embrace change and new possibilities
