Casual Cleaner or Orderly

Ventia are looking for new team members to join their hard-working team of Cleaners/Orderly. Every day, you will do something to be proud of. Our cleaners make our hospital a place where patients can get better safely and for staff to work in a hygienic environment.

This is a physical role that requires you to be on your feet and on the go, but it is hugely rewarding.

• Casual Cleaners wanted
• Available Shift Saturday & Sunday 6 am to 1:00 pm
  Monday & Tuesday 6 am till 11 am
• Shift work including Early, Late and Night Shifts, Weekends and Weekdays

Tasks of the role include, but not limited to;

• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying rubbish, ablution cleaning, cleaning furniture, floor maintenance, carpet cleaning
• Checking and replenishing of stock
• Cleaning up spills including blood and body fluids
• Confidentiality must always be maintained

Requirements of the role;

• Always maintains professional presentation
• All patients and other staff are always treated with respect and courtesy
• Providing excellent customer service
• Reliability in attendance and commitment to performing work in the given time frame
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts as and when required including Early, Lates and Night Shifts, Weekends and Weekdays
• Follow and comply with all Health & Safety policies and processes.
• Fully Vaccinated with Booster against Covid-19.

It is a busy hospital, you will need to respond flexibly to changes. If there is an urgent need for Cleaner assistance in a different part of the building, you will be ready and trained to assist.
