The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for experienced industry professionals to step into the role of Sous Chef at our Ponsonby venue! Ideally you will have at least 2+ years experience in a comparable role within the hospitality industry, ideally within an upmarket, high volume venue, and experience in Japanese or Asian Fusion cuisine. You will have effective team management experience including the ability to train and mentor your team. You will have the capability to maintain high food standards, experience in managing and monitoring financial budgets and food and labour costs, and the flexibility to work across a 7 day roster, including late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
