Amano Bakery is a bakery that uses authentic, artisanal baking techniques from Europe and showcases them using NZ grains. Each loaf is handcrafted, made fresh every day. Hence, Amano - Inspired by the Italian phrase "by hand". Our emphasis is on sustainable, seasonal, locally-sourced food. Sourdoughs, ciabattas and miche loaves sit alongside pastries, tarts, slices and large seasonal cakes. And lunch at Amano Bakery includes traditional Italian pizza. Seasonal ingredients, long fermented by the slice, hot out of the oven.
The Opportunity
Amano has a fantastic opportunity for a Pastry Chef to join the team!
Ideally, you will have 2+ years experience in production as well as plated desserts, the ability to illustrate technique and knowledge across patisserie, a relevant patisserie or cookery qualification, and an enthusiastic and dedicated attitude.
