Located in the heart of the Viaduct with incredible views in possibly the best spot in the city. Bivacco is a place for everyone serving hand-made pasta, seafood and dishes from Italy using the best ingredients along with great drinks that work whether the sun is out or the sun has set. Make your mark in the Auckland hospitality scene and lead one of the busiest bars in the city. 

The Opportunity

We are on the hunt for an experienced hospitality professional to step into the role of Duty Manager. Ideally,  you will have at least 1 year experience in a comparable management role, a fantastic attitude with exceptional care and understanding for the overall customer experience, flexibility to work nights and weekends, the right to work in New Zealand and a current LCQ and managers certificate or the eligibility to get one. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Day to day operations of the venue including; staff performance, customer experience, and quality of offerings at all times
  • Legal compliance of the venue in particular to the Sale of Alcohol Act 2012
  • Assisting with events and group bookings
  • Financial management ensuring costs (labour and goods) are well managed
  • Assist with the training and development of junior team members
  • Maintaining venue standards and presentation at all times
