The Venue
The Azabu Mission Bay menu combines Nikkei-influenced dishes and modern Japanese with an emphasis on the fun and the interesting. Located in the iconic beachfront stone building quietly winning awards and creating devotees.
The Opportunity
We are on the hunt for an experienced hospitality professional to step into the role of Duty Manager. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience in a comparable management role, a fantastic attitude with exceptional care and understanding for the overall customer experience, flexibility to work nights and weekends, the right to work in New Zealand and a current LCQ and managers certificate or the eligibility to get one.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Day to day operations of the venue including; staff performance, customer experience, and quality of offerings at all times
- Legal compliance of the venue in particular to the Sale of Alcohol Act 2012
- Assisting with events and group bookings
- Financial management ensuring costs (labour and goods) are well managed
- Assist with the training and development of junior team members
- Maintaining venue standards and presentation at all times
