SADD Team Administrator

This is your opportunity to join SADD as a team administrator on a part-time permanent position supporting the SADD team to help deliver our programmes to young Kiwis around the Country.

Office Administration

  • Carry out day to day administration tasks
  • Be aware of relevant deadlines and advise the management team well in advance of the deadlines.
  • Screen incoming calls, assess needs and provide general first line advice
  • Deal with general correspondence and email including preparing appropriate responses.
  • Assist the SADD team in organising diaries, preparing reports, letters, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Oversee the financial administration including banking, invoices, liaising with Accounts Payables, credit card and bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate meetings, organise venues and attendees, distribute agendas, take minutes, follow up on agreed actions.
  • Ensure resource orders are completed in a timely manner, maintains overview of resources and merchandise

Conference

  • Assist with the organisation including event coordination, registration, merchandise and other resources

IT and Website Maintenance

  • Ensure IT systems and processes are proactively managed to ensure we are operating with the most cost-effective and efficient systems, software to fulfil organisational requirements.

About You | Mōu

We are looking for a team player who is approachable and flexible who has the following qualities:

  • Experience working in an administration role
  • Proficient Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Strong computer literacy and financial administration experience
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic and motivated mindset
  • Is proactive, persistent, and confident in managing relationships with partners and suppliers
  • The ability to be innovative and have a problem-solving approach towards organisational goals
  • Flexibility and availability to travel when required

What We Offer | Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou

This is a part-time role based in Wellington or Christchurch. There is scope for flexibility in start times and options to work from home when required. There is some travel required for this role, attending SADD conference in April and team meetings when required.
