Senior Manager, Business Intelligence

About The Role
As Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Lead a team of high performing BI practitioners who are able to work alongside the business to deliver relevant and insightful dashboards and analytics
  • Build collaboration and expertise so that the BI team are seen as a trusted partner and the leader of BI across ANZ NZ
  • Lead the development of new BI assets that align with our strategy of self-service analytics
  • Be responsible for executing on our Analytics Strategy and Roadmap, ensuring that appropriate technologies are utilised to support a shift from backward looking reports to predictive KPI management
  • Build and develop strong relationships with analytical, technology and business teams to ensure “joined up” solution development
  • Recruit, develop and manage the performance of the BI practitioners, ensuring the appropriate mix of business and technical skills is catered for
  • Demonstrate the ANZ values and contribute to a customer-centric culture, fostering collaboration across teams and business units

Role Location: Wellington or Auckland

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive experience in analytics and prior experience leading BI professionals
  • Strong understanding of the BI and Analytics Technology landscape
  • Proven experience using reporting and data visualisation tools such as SAS, Teradata, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to consult and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to set clear achievable goals, priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships
