Way back in 2004 two ladies who loved their bach were looking for some help. They had a wonderful home in Hahei, in the Coromandel. It was their happy place.

But they were busy people. They needed a full-service holiday home rental and management service for hard-working bach owners like them. Finding no such service that suited them, the enterprising pair set about creating their own: Bachcare. They started out with just 5 Hahei properties. It didn't take them long to realise the potential for a beautiful Kiwi brand. A brand that was all about helping people with their happy place – whether looking after one or borrowing someone else’s little slice of heaven.

Over the next 13 years, demand for Bachcare's services grew and grew, until it was helping over 1600 people with their holiday homes in 142 locations nationwide with a team of 92 awesome holiday managers. Assembling a highly experienced support team, who brought lots of hard work and love for the job, Bachcare became the biggest provider in Asia Pacific.
